Raids may not be as static in Destiny 2 as they were in the first game.
Every week, a new selection of challenges are added to Destiny 2, including resets to the Nightfall Strike, Flashpoint Public Event challenges, and more. This weekly update also resets the raid keys players have amassed over the previous week, but this isn’t the only raid-focused change the reset brought.
The current Leviathan raid is designed with one central area that connects four others challenges that must be tackled in sequence. The boss is still the final challenge for the raid, but unlike last week’s challenge order of Royal Pools, Pleasure Gardens, and Gauntlet, this week will have players first take on the Pleasure Gardens, before moving onto the Gauntlet, and then the Royal Pools. The specific requirements for each individual challenge have seemingly remained unchanged.
Destiny 2‘s Leviathan raid has been out less than a week, but some players are already running circles around it. Most impressively, one group of players managed to take down Calus, the raid’s final boss, in four minutes.
Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release dropping October 24th.
