A patch is rolling out to fix the most serious issue Injustice 2 players have encountered to date.
If you’re one of the unlucky users who lost your gear to the bugs in Injustice 2, then fear no more—according to the developer, any lost gear should be restored in today’s patch.
The bug, which was introduced in Injustice 2‘s October update, caused shaders and gear to disappear from players’ inventory, in some cases erasing even premier skins and shaders. Some of those players were able to get their gear back by contacting the publisher’s support center, but today’s update should make that process automatic.
“Over the next few hours we’ll be rolling out a fix to return lost Gear to our affected users,” an admin wrote on the game’s official forums. “You’ll need to reboot your console to get the update. Keep in mind it may take some time for your Gear to sync. Thank you for your patience!”
So, once that update hits, reboot your console, and you may find that your lost gear is back. If not, you can continue to contact the support center.
